Position Overview: As an IT/System Administrator at TEMS Tech Solutions, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability, security, and efficiency of our IT infrastructure and systems. You will be responsible for managing and maintaining our network, servers, and software applications, as well as providing technical support to internal users. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, a solid understanding of IT best practices, and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.

Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software components of the company’s IT infrastructure, including servers, networking equipment, operating systems, and productivity applications.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize system resources to ensure maximum uptime and reliability.
• Implement and maintain security measures to protect the company’s IT assets, data, and network infrastructure from cyber threats and vulnerabilities.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls to ensure compliance with security policies and regulatory requirements.
• Provide technical support and assistance to internal users, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues, resolving technical problems, and providing training and guidance as needed.
• Plan and execute system upgrades, patches, and software deployments in coordination with relevant stakeholders.
• Document system configurations, processes, and procedures to ensure consistency and maintainability of IT systems.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in IT administration and cybersecurity.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an IT/System Administrator or similar role, with hands-on experience managing and maintaining IT infrastructure and systems.
• Strong technical skills in areas such as network administration, server administration, virtualization, and cloud computing.
• Experience with operating systems, such as Windows, Linux, and macOS, as well as productivity applications and collaboration tools.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity principles, best practices, and tools for securing IT systems and networks.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA), or equivalent certifications are a plus.
