Position Summary:

We are seeking a diligent Backup & Migration Specialist Intern to assist in configuring, testing, and managing our backup and migration processes within cPanel. This role provides valuable hands-on experience in automated backup setup, data integrity testing, and website migration, ensuring seamless data management and security

Responsibilities:

• Set up automated backups (daily, weekly, monthly) using cPanel’s backup tools.
• Regularly test backup integrity to ensure restorability and data consistency.
• Assist in planning and executing website migrations using cPanel’s built-in tools.
• Manage domain transfers, database migrations, and DNS changes to ensure smooth transitions.
• Monitor for issues during migrations to minimize downtime

Required Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of backup protocols, data migration, and server management.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with cPanel and migration tools.
• Knowledge of data management practices and basic networking concepts

Skills and Competencies:

• Strong attention to detail and ability to verify data integrity.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to troubleshooting.
• Ability to work effectively within a team and independently
