Position Summary:
As the Chief Operating Officer and Co-Founder, you will be responsible for overseeing the company’s daily operations, implementing strategies for operational growth, and ensuring efficient and scalable processes. You will work closely with the CEO and other C-level executives to execute the company’s vision, streamline operations, and build sustainable growth strategies. This position offers a unique opportunity to become a key player in the company’s leadership team with an equity stake based on your investment.
Responsibilities:
- Operational Strategy and Execution: Develop and implement operational strategies to optimize business functions, drive efficiency, and support overall business growth.
- Process Optimization: Lead initiatives to streamline processes, reduce inefficiencies, and enhance productivity across all departments.
- Team Leadership: Manage and guide cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and ensuring alignment with company objectives. Provide leadership, coaching, and development opportunities for team members.
- Performance Metrics: Define and track operational KPIs to measure the success of operational initiatives and ensure that business goals are being met.
- Resource Allocation: Oversee resource planning and allocation to ensure the proper staffing, budgeting, and execution of operational plans.
- Operational Risk Management: Identify potential operational risks and implement strategies to mitigate them, ensuring business continuity and efficiency.
- Budget Management: Collaborate with the CFO and other executives to manage budgets, ensuring that operational costs are aligned with company targets and profitability.
- Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with other C-level executives to ensure seamless coordination and communication between all departments (Sales, Marketing, Product, Finance, HR, etc.).
- Scalable Systems and Technology: Lead the implementation of technology and systems that enhance operational capabilities and scale with business growth.
- Vendor and Partnership Management: Oversee relationships with key vendors and partners, ensuring that agreements are aligned with company needs and performance expectations
- Company Culture: Contribute to the development of TEMS Tech Solutions’ company culture, ensuring that operations support a positive, collaborative, and growth-oriented work environment
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field; MBA or other advanced degrees preferred.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in operations management or a related leadership role, preferably within the technology or consulting industry.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proven track record of managing operations in high-growth environments, with a focus on process improvement and operational scalability.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve operational excellence.
- Experience with resource planning, budgeting, and financial management.
Skills and Competencies:
- Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a strong focus on results and efficiency.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience with technology implementation, process automation, and systems integration is a plus

Note: This role is equity-based with no fixed salary until funding is secured. The COO role is ideal for an operational leader with a passion for scaling businesses, optimizing processes, and driving growth in a startup or high-growth environment
