Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Cybersecurity Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and managing cybersecurity measures to protect our clients’ systems, networks, and data. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse and challenging cybersecurity projects, collaborating with a team of experts to deliver comprehensive security solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Designing, implementing, and managing cybersecurity controls, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, encryption, and endpoint security solutions.
• Conducting risk assessments, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing to identify and mitigate security risks and vulnerabilities.
• Monitoring security logs, alerts, and incidents to detect and respond to security threats and breaches in a timely manner.
• Developing and implementing security policies, standards, and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
• Providing cybersecurity awareness training and education to employees and stakeholders to promote security awareness and best practices.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate cybersecurity measures into the design and development of systems and applications.
• Staying current with emerging cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and technologies to continuously improve security posture and practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field; Master’s degree or certifications in cybersecurity are a plus.
• Proven experience in cybersecurity, with a strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, practices, and technologies.
• Experience with cybersecurity tools and technologies, such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, antivirus, encryption, and vulnerability assessment tools.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and standards, such as NIST, ISO/IEC 27001, CIS Controls, and GDPR.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze security incidents and recommend appropriate remediation measures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or GIAC are highly desirable.
• Experience working on multidisciplinary projects and interfacing with clients is a plus.
